Every year, over 2 million people in Australia skip seeing the dentist because of the cost. This places a significant burden on our health system, with people presenting to emergency departments with major health issues that could have been prevented with regular checkups.
After the Greens won the seat of Melbourne in 2010, we negotiated in the balance of power to deliver dental into Medicare for kids. This election we will push for dental into Medicare for everyone.
But to do that, I need a good understanding of the need in the Griffith electorate. Help me build the case for bringing dental into Medicare by filling out this 2- minute survey for Griffith residents.
