Scutineer training

This election is going to be super close, so every vote will count! Each political party is allowed several volunteers to watch the ballot count take place, both on the night of the election and the days following as re-counts happens. We will need to have at least 2 volunteers at every booth, after polls are closed, to help with scrutineering. It’s a fairly straight forward process- you watch to ensure preferences are distributed correctly, that ballots with 1 Greens aren’t accidentally counted as being a vote for another party, and to make sure that no ballots are accidentally counted as informal when they are legit. It would be amazing if our booth captains were able to stick around to Scrutineer after the polls have closed.
