Winning Griffith: Campaign Intro and Training Session.

We have a huge opportunity at this Federal election to turn Griffith Green, and put a new kind of politics on the agenda. Only 1 in 5 Labor voters need to vote Green this time, and we elect our first lower house Federal Greens MP from Queensland!

This event will provide you with an intro to the campaign, its vision and strategy, as well as give you all the tools you need to be able to have an engaging conversation about politics.

Come and learn how to persuade someone to vote for the Greens and how to handle all those tricky questions that come up on the campaign trail.  We have an amazing chance of winning Griffith, we only need a 7% swing, but if we want to win we need to get out there and talk to voters!

There will be training sessions on general persuasive conversation skills, and workshops on specific policies and on how to handle frequently asked questions. You’ll get a chance to practice your newfound skills with other volunteers. After the workshops, we'll be joined by our Greenslopes doorknocking team, and you'll have the chance to head out and chat to residents nearby with one of our experienced volunteers.
